How to make a super quick Lentejas con Chorizo (Lentils with Chorizo). It tastes much better than out of a can and takes 5 minutes.
1. Slice up 2 cloves of garlic and fry in olive oil with 2 bay (laurel) leaves.
2. Slice up some cured chorizo and fry it for 2 minutes on both sides in the same oil.
3. Make up about half a cup of stock (chicken or meat).
4. Add precooked lentils to the fried chorizo and then add the stock.
5. Let it simmer for 3 minutes.
6. Take out a quarter of a cup of lentils and stock and blend. Then add it back to the saucepan.
And there you go. OK - it's not the traditional way to do it, but it's quick.
