Bag'la
Baghla, bagala, bugala yoki baggala (arabcha: بغلة) - an'anaviy arab yelkanli kemasi [1][2] ."Bag'la" nomi arab tilida "xachir" degan ma'noni anglatadi.
Tavsif
[tahrir | manbasini tahrirlash]Bag'la duxovkalarining boshi egilgan dumli, ziynatlangan o'yilgan dumli va chorak galereyasi bor edi. Ularning o'rtacha uzunligi 100 ft (30 m) edi o'rtacha og'irligi 275 tonna. Odatda, ular ikki-uchta lateen yelkanlari yordamida ikkita ustunga ega edi; ko'pincha kamon ustuniga, shuningdek, asosiy ustunning tepasida joylashgan to'plamga qo'shimcha yelkan kabi qo'shimcha yelkanlar qo'shilgan [3]. Tarix
[tahrir | manbasini tahrirlash]Baghlahlar o'tgan asrlarda Hind okeani va Arabiston yarim oroli atrofidagi kichik dengizlarda savdo kemalari sifatida keng qo'llanilgan. Ular sharqqa Sindga, Hindistonga va Bengal ko'rfaziga qadar va undan tashqarida Spice orollarigacha etib borishdi. Janubi-g'arbga qarab ular Sharqiy Afrika qirg'oqlariga etib borishdi. Ular Bohra savdogarlari tomonidan ishlatiladigan asosiy kema turlaridan biri edi.
