Ibn Hayyon nomi bilan mashhur bo‘lgan Abu Marvon Hayyon ibn Xalaf ibn Husayn ibn Hayyon al-Qurtubiy (arab. ابن حيَّان القرطبي) (987–1075) andaluslik barbar [1]musulmon tarixchisi edi. Kordovada tug‘ilgan otasi Andalusiya hukmdori al-Mansur saroyida muhim amaldor bo‘lgan va tarixga oid bir qancha asarlar yozgan, ular qisman saqlanib qolgan. Ibn Hayyonning kitoblari Andalusiya tarixi, ayniqsa Kordova tarixi va toifalar podshohliklarini o‘rganish uchun eng muhim manbalardan biri hisoblanadi. Uning asari, shuningdek, o‘zi “Majus” [2] deb atagan Viking bosqinchilari haqida dastlabki ma’lumotlarni beradi. i

bn Hazm singari u ham Umaviylar sulolasini qo‘llab-quvvatlagan. 1075-yilda Kordovada vafot etgan.
