What language speak the jews in Uzbekistan? Perhabs they speak Yiddsh!? Are they Aschkenasim-Jews from Germany? Simon Mayer

Autochtonous Central Asian Jews (so-called Bukharan Jews) speak an variety of Tajik/Persian (but also Uzbek), Jews of Eastern European origin (Ashkenasim) formerly spoke Yiddish, but nowadays speak mostly Russian. 141.20.240.118 20:59, 21 December 2005 (UTC)

Thank You!

Salem! Are in O`zbekiston German settlements?

Not anymore - unfortunately. All the Volga and Ural Germans that were moved here by J.V.Stalin have emigrated since the independence in 1991. Why? Uzgen 19:42, 19 May 2006 (UTC)
I don´t know. In my village (Germany) there are living a lot of Germans from Central Asia (Baptists), but they do not speak with other Germans... I think in O´zbekiston there are living 40.000 humans, wich have a German stem!? (from German Wikipedia) iS that right? Simon MAYER
Im 2001 es war nur 24,000 Deutschen folke in Usbekistan. Originally there were around 10.000 Germans in Uzbekistan. Stalin transported about 40.000 more into Taschkent which were later moved to Samarkand. After independence german fractions attempted to gain reabbilitation from former Soviet persecution. Failed to get it they began emigrating away. If there are any left - less than 1.000 remains. Uzgen 09:31, 20 May 2006 (UTC)

O`zbekiston dagi Apostrof

[manbasini tahrirlash]

O`ning apostrofini (`) ko`rinishida ishlatiladi. Sababi chet ingliz tili klaviaturasida (‘) belgisi yo`q. bu esa chet eldagilarga qiyinchilik uyg'otishi mumkin... Kimda boshga fikr bo`lsa marhamat --Isman 11:50, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
