Fundraising time is around the corner![manbasini tahrirlash]
Hello Wikimedians, my name is Deniz and I am working for the Wikimedia Foundation during the 2010 Fundraiser. My job is to be the liaison between the Oʻzbek community and the Foundation. This year's fundraiser is intended to be a collaborative and global effort, we recognize that banner messages that perform well in the United States don't necessarily translate well, or appeal to international audiences.
I am currently looking for translators who are willing to contribute to this project, helping to translate and localize messages into Oʻzbek and suggesting messages that would appeal to Oʻzbek readers on the Fundraising Meta Page. We've started the setup on meta for both banner submission, statistical analysis, and grouping volunteers together.
Use the talk pages on meta, talk to your local communities, talk to others, talk to us, and add your feedback to the proposed messages as well! I look forward to working with you during this year's fundraiser.

Editor Appeals Need Translations[manbasini tahrirlash]
Hi everyone! Sorry for the English, anyone who is able to translate is welcome (and encouraged). Translations are very important to the 2010 fundraiser and those of you who have contributed have done great work. We still have a long way to go though and will continue to need your indispensable skills. Currently, the appeals from Wikipedia editors Kartika, Liliaroja, Abbas and Joan Gomà need to be translated and localized. Also some core messages need to be updated for certain languages. You can find all translation requests at the translation hub on meta and you can follow the progress of the fundraiser in real time by tracking the fundraiser statistics. Also for those of you who haven't already, you can subscribe to the translators-l mailing list for all new requests and major changes.
