Warner Leroy Baxter (talaffuzi: „Uorner Leroy Bakster“, 1889-yil 29-mart — 1951-yil 7-may)[1] 1910-yillardan 1940-yillargacha boʻlgan amerikalik kino aktyori. 1921-yilda Baxter oʻzining birinchi bosh rolini "Sheltered Daughters" filmida oʻynadi[12]. Oʻsha yili u „First Love", [13] “The Love Charm", [14] va "Cheated Heart" filmlarida rol oʻynadi[15].
Baxter 1920-yillarda 48 ta filmda suratga tushdi. Uning eng koʻzga koʻringan jim rollari: "The Great Gatsby" (1926), "Aloma of the Soutg Seas" (1926) raqqosasi Gilda Gray, Lon Chaney bilan Gʻarbiy Zanzibarda alkogol shifokori (1928).
Shaxsiy hayoti

1931-yil 5-avgustda Baxter 40 nafar aktyor va ekipaj aʼzolari bilan birga „The Cisco Kid“ (1931) filmini suratga olish uchun Tuksonga ketayotgan Janubiy Tinch okeani argonavtining Yuma shahridan sharqda relsdan chiqib ketishida jarohatlarsiz omon qoldi. [tahrir | manbasini tahrirlash]Baxter bir necha yil davomida artritdan aziyat chekdi va 1951-yilda surunkali ogʻriqni yengillashtirish uchun oxirgi chora sifatida lobotomiya qildi[17][18]. 1951-yil 7-mayda u 62 yoshida pnevmoniyadan vafot etdi va Kaliforniyaning Glendeyl shahridagi Forest Lawn Memorial Park qabristoniga dafn qilindi. Uning qabri yopiq va qulflangan shaxsiy boʻlimda, Xotira bogʻida joylashgan. Uning bronza qabr toshida uning imzosining reproduksiyasi mavjud. Qolgan yozuv uning rafiqasi Winifred Bryson Baxterning qoʻlyozmasida[19][20].
